Elciego
The core of the race will take place from Elciego, a small town of barely 1,000 inhabitants with a lot of charm where you can stroll through its historic centre, with its main square, its emblazoned houses and the church of San Andrés, a large building from the 16th century. In contrast, just a few metres away, the modern building designed by the famous Canadian architect Frank Gehry for one of the most famous wineries in the area, Marqués de Riscal.
The start and finish line of both the races and the popular walk will be in Elciego. At the same time, the Rioja Alavesa Wine Fair will be located next to the finish line. Each participant will receive free vouchers for the fair in the runner’s bag.
